Wedding Reception June 11, 2008
The caterer counted 172 full meals.  Tables and chairs were placed in both the "Old Bank" and the "Art Cafe" buildings.  There were several tables and chairs within the Walled Courtyard which is also where the caterer was situated.  After the guests were finished eating in the "Old Bank", all but the bistro tables and chairs were removed to make space for the dancing.  the "Old Bank" has few windows to avoid sunlight on the paintings which is perfect for dancing considering sunset was about 9:00 pm.  The Art Cafe building is somewhat removed from the music allowing conversation.  There is a circular traffic pattern allowing easy movement.

There are three sections of the Art Gallery.  The "Art Cafe", the "Old Bank" and the connecting walled "Courtyard" at the rear of both buildings.

There is a circular traffic flow.

The view to the right is as you enter the Art Cafe through the front door.

This photograph shows the Bank building with tables and chairs prior to the arrival of the guests.

This photograph is of the  Art Cafe after tables and chairs have been placed but before the arrival of the guests.  Note that you can see the open glass window at the rear which is the entrance to the Courtyard.
This photograph is of the formal Courtyard which has an abundance of flowers.  Notice the caterer "set up" in the background of the photo.  There is a preparation area within the Art Cafe building that is designed for the caterer.  However in this case the caterer decided to set up outside in the shaded courtyard area.

There is a back door into the Courtyard from both the Art Cafe and the Old Bank creating an advantageous circular traffic flow.

As the guests arrive and await the bride and groom they begin to fill the tables and chairs in the Bank building.  Notice the "DJ" has set up in the forground.
As more guests arrive the tables and chairs in the Art Cafe begin to be occupied.  In the forground are two large round tables where the wedding party decided to sit together.
The Courtyard area turned out to be a very popular choice.  The weather was pleasant.  The food was stationed and served in the Courtyard.  The classical Strauss music from the Bose speakers was very relaxing.  It was easy to have a conversation.

After the guests had finished their dinner, most of the tables and chairs were removed from the Old Bank building except the bistro tables and chairs in order to make room for dancing.  Here you see the bride and groom preparing to do the "Chicken Dance".
