Construction Challenge
July 5, 2005
Marla purchased the old First Nat'l Bank Building of Eddy Texas.  It was in terrible disarray.  But with the diligent help of David Capehart who reconstruct the broken column in front and repaired the structural part  of the interior, things began to come together.  She then purchased the adjoining building and Andy Rosales lent a hand and started the work of the Spanish Courtyard.  Keven Levy build the iron gates that Marla designed.  The work grew into a huge endeavor and Ray Martinez of Home Depot recommended Jose Hernandez of Jose's Construction Co.  They have worked diligently to complete both buildings. To our amazement we are within a few weeks of completion.  It has been a positive exhilarating experience of a lifetime.  Eddy is truly a friendly town that has given us support and encouragement and we are proud to be here.
