| Francisco Sarzala |
| May 2007 Francisco Sarzala Resides: In Mexico City Medium: Prefers Oil Profession: Artist. Committed to art totally as is his father who resides in Spain as a professional artist. Gallery comments: Senor Sarzala seems to have a feel for the current importance of the common man in the Mexican political and cultural dynamic. Mexico now has a two party system that makes the vote of each individual very important. From merchant to cab driver the individual is being courted as never before. So too the common man and woman are becoming more recognized as important by the artist. This same importance was apparent in Europe in the last half of the 1800s'. |
