| Purchased in Vienna winter of 2006. The painting is signed and appears to be authentic. Creation was anound 1890. The detail is truly amazing. The interpretation of the Madonna as very youthful and light coloring is a departure from the norm. About: Eduard Veith 1856 Neutitschein - 1925 Vienna Eduard Veith was pupil of the Viennese college of arts and crafts under Laufberger. The artistic further training took place in Paris. Created freskas (freskierte) of Maria Theresia, Theresia-Saal of the Viennese yard castle, the German folk theatre Vienna and the Diana bath to Vienna.
